HAPPY SOCKS PATTERN
$0
FIT:
Crew length (or longer or shorter if you like) socks. These are one size (width-wise, the pattern talks about how to achieve any length). To grade up or down just make sure to use a multiple of 3 and it will all work out.
CONSTRUCTION:
These socks are knit top down in a tube. The cuff is 2x1 rib, the under foot is stockinette. The heel is an after (fore) thought heel and walks you through how to put in life lines to help pick the stitches back up. The heel is knit after the sock tube and toe are completed. The last step is to embroider the smiley. Instructions for embroidery are included.
MATERIALS:
This pattern is very flexible for gauge. I recommend that the yarns befingering // sock weight but its ok if they differ a little. For the sample, I
used all 1 new skein for the Main Color and the heel and toe were stash
yarns. BUST THAT STASH!
